Earlier we began to experience some electrical problems, so we thought that Cape Canaveral would be a good/close place to stop and troubleshoot the issues. We ended up staying about a month to resolve a problem with our inverter and, of course, we took advantage of the down time. We traveled around and visited Kennedy Space Center and Universal Studios; drove and toured around St. Augustine; traveled to Fort Walton Beach for a Rugby tournament and visited family; watched a launch; and rubbed a manatee's tummy. The photos below reflect our time at Merritt Island.

The repairs were finally complete and we were ready to head North again. We sailed along the coast and stopped in Cumberland Island, Jekyll Island, Savannah and Hilton Head. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to each area, however, we did not get any electronic photos ... maybe during our next visit. After a bit of cruising, we arrived in Charleston, South Carolina. |
