Staniel Cay

April, 2003

     We visited for a couple of days and had the opportunity to snorkel the Thunderball cave and feed the fish.  It has been the best snorkeling yet.  This cave became well known from the James Bond movie Thunderball and it's something that you shouldn't pass up if you're ever in the area.

    Fish were not the only thing we were able to feed.  Not too far from Staniel Cay is an island called Big Majors which is the home of two hogs (not to mention some people).  On Saturday, April 5th, we stopped by Big Majors and the hogs swam out and greeted us.  For all their swimming efforts, we felt obliged to feed them.  Cute huh!!!

At last, an apple    I had a quick chance to feed the pigs ... they love lettuce    Well, I think the pigs have figured out that we don't have any more food

    Well, it was time to put Rankin to work so after some reluctance, we departed Staniel Cay/Big Majors and had a very pleasant sail to Exuma Park.  Well, there was time for one more quick photo.
